Independent Practitioner Disclaimer

Practitioners providing services at Gold Coast Allied Health are independent contractors, not employees, workers, partners, joint venturers, or agents of the Clinic. Each practitioner:

• Operates their own independent practice and provides professional services to patients directly, under their own patient contracts
• Is solely responsible for their own clinical and professional decisions, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, care plans, referrals and informed consent
• Holds their own professional registration, qualifications, and professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• Sets their own fees, and receives payment directly from patients for the services they provide
• Is not supervised, directed, or controlled by the Clinic in relation to their clinical work

The Clinic provides rooms, reception, administrative and facilities support to practitioners — the Clinic does not provide, supervise, or take responsibility for the clinical services practitioners deliver to patients.

No practitioner has authority to bind the Clinic, make representations on behalf of the Clinic, or hold themselves out as an employee or agent of the Clinic, and the Clinic does not hold itself out as providing the clinical services delivered by any practitioner.

When you receive treatment from a practitioner at our premises, your professional and contractual relationship for that treatment is with that practitioner directly, not with Gold Coast Allied Health Pty Ltd. Any questions, concerns or complaints about clinical care, treatment, or advice should be directed to your treating practitioner in the first instance. Questions about your appointment, our premises, or facilities can be directed to Clinic reception.
